The parents of her were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's previous marriage. They resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English in the hopes of returning to Argentina.
