Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia gave Aspen a unanimous defeat and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd won her next match against Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy with an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her, winning the TKO during the second round. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter received the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her streak of winning. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
